Sylvia is a junior at North Quincy High School. She adores literature, quotes, graphic design, dancing, music, or just anything creative and related to art. Taking Journalism is something that has been on her mind since freshman year. She is taking Journalism in the hopes of feeling like she has contributed to this community, and making sure people get informed on what is important. She gets interested in a topic very easily, so there is nothing she is not happy to write about. Even though she is a perfectionist, she is not afraid of learning new concepts, perspectives, and techniques. During school, she is often overwhelmed and tired, but outside of school, she is relaxed and comfortable inside her home—specifically on her bed. In her free time, she is determined to make playlists that perfectly describe a certain mood she’s been feeling recently. Sylvia deeply enjoys nature; she likes to go on walks and loves road trips. The number one thing on her bucket list is to travel around the world, and visit at least fifty countries.
