Rorie is a junior who is taking journalism in order to improve her conversational skills and get more news on all things NQ. She is excited to share many experiences outside of school with other students and get people involved with their city; from the best hangout spots to upcoming events, she will help you keep an eye on everything current.

Rorie is a member of the QNQ sailing team; and has been on it since freshman year. She is also involved in the Science Olympiad, Writing club, and Women in Stem. Outside of school, Rorie works for Quincy Recreation and enjoys her position at the boathouse at Black’s Creek in the summer.

Rorie also volunteers at multiple watershed associations, sampling and monitoring the water supply of local communities. She would like to pursue Marine Geochemistry after she graduates. Aside from the water, Rorie loves her pet dog, Marley, and frequenting the Dunkin Donut’s drive-thru. Her favorite class (as she writes this) is Physics with Mr. Conners, with lunch with her friends being a close second.
