Nora Ganno is a senior at North Quincy High School and is excited to be part of the Raider Roundup. She is taking Journalism because she enjoys writing, creating content, and telling stories that people can connect with. She is especially interested in writing about school events, sports, and other topics relevant to students. Nora hopes Journalism will help her become a stronger writer while learning more about interviewing, reporting, and creating engaging stories.
At school, Nora is involved in the Student Council and has been a member for all four years of high school. She currently serves as Student Council Secretary and enjoys helping organize events and activities for students. Nora is also dedicated to track and field, where she is a captain for the North Quincy team. She competes in events such as shot put and discus. She also helps with the Unified Basketball team, which gives students with special needs the opportunity to play basketball and practice teamwork.
Outside of school, Nora’s favorite food is sushi, her favorite book is The Book Thief, and her favorite movie is The Hunger Games. She hopes to bring her creativity and curiosity to the Raider Roundup.
