In the mornings you might spot Kaitlyn, a current junior at North Quincy High School rushing to homeroom. Kaitlyn often feels a little sleepy and loves sleeping. When she is not catching up on sleep Kaitlyn enjoys binge watching shows and movies. Some of her favorites are Gossip Girls and Spirited Away. Her favorite season is winter because of the cozy atmosphere with movies, hot coco, tranquil snowdays. In addition she has a strong appreciation for the performance arts, particularly ballets. Driven by her sweet tooth and love for brownies, Kaitlyn wants to learn how to bake.

At school Kaitlyn’s involved in various clubs including Women in STEM, writing club and diversity club. Since freshman year she has been a member of the girls tennis team and continually working on her playing skills. Kaitlyn would occasionally read the Raider Round which sparked her interest to take journalism but also wants to get a better understanding of the ethics behind journalism. Kaitlyn is keen to start investigating and reporting into what's going on in the community.

Fun fact about Kaitlyn: she loves ducks and thinks their little waddles are absolutely adorable.
